Happy Janmashtmi (Krishna’s birthday) to all friends.
India’s beloved Avtar Krishna was of dark skin handsome man. According to the holly books, Krisna had about 1000 names. Because of his dark skin, many of his name had metaphor of the meaning dark cloud. Like ‘Ghanshyam’ (means, dark like a cloud.) [Coinsidently my own birth name is Ghanshyam]
In this poem, I have expanded the metaphor and designated Krishna as the god of rain.
Normally monsoon is a very welcome season in India for many reasons! But this year, God of Rain has overdone it, and many parts of the country have severe flood situation. The poem is in Hindi language, and has beautiful meaning. But general idea is to request the dark god to stop rain.
Hopefully, next year I will translate the lyrics in English.
