Happy Raksha-Bandhan – Music: Oasis Thacker

India has given special recognition to brother-sister love. That’s why there are two ‘Sister’s Days’ Rakshabandhan and Bhai-Dooj’ In childhood, sister is brother’s best friend. They play together, and fight too. But at times, sister becomes little mother, and takes care of the brother. Brother on the other hand puts his life on line to protect sister.

This song from film ‘Chhoti Bahan’ is the best of all the great songs written about brother sister love. Music composers Shankar – Jaykisan are the best Bollywood composers ever. Shailendra has written great words, and Lata Mangeshkar has sung this song unusually good.  I have tried my best to bring out the emotion of love from my instrument. I hope you like it.
